EMPOWERING CHILD’S STRENGTHS FOR VIOLENCE PREVENTION PROJECT

Within the framework of the international project “Empowering child’s strengths for violence prevention,” which is being carried out in eight European countries, For Better World is implementing the project in Slovenia. It is also the founder of the Center for prevention of violence among and against children.

Oak Foundation is the co-financier of the Empowering child’s strengths for violence prevention project.

In the framework of a 5-year project, For Better World carries out training according to a  “resilience approach” method. It trains a team of professionals, parents, teachers, volunteers, and youth, who will become qualified for implementing preventive programs against violence in Slovene educational institutions and homes.

At the same time, a 5-year program for children in schools is being carried out.
